Following the sudden events that unveiled during the recent Astroworld fest, an annual music festival organized by American rapper Travis Scott at the NRG, multiple lawsuits have been filed for the many injuries sustained. With eight people pronounced dead and over 300 more being treated with injuries, the awful tragedy happened when the densely packed crowd surged towards the stage and were crushed against each other.
Among the accusers, is the family of 21-year-old Axel Acosta, who is said to have died after being squeezed in by a “whipped, wild, and out of control crowd” with such a force that he could not breathe. The massive lawsuit has been filed by Texas-based attorney Thomas J. Henry against Travis Scott, Apple, Live Nation, NRG Stadium, and Drake, who appeared to be a guest performer at the event as the mayhem happened.
Earlier in the month, Houston attorney Tony Buzbee also announced a 750 million dollar against Travis Scott and the organizers. He called them to answer for the negligence that is said to have made the accident possible.
