In December of 2021, Mary J. Blige dropped 2 new singles “Amazing” and “Good Morning Gorgeous” off of her anticipated studio album titled “Good Morning Gorgeous.”
Since Mary hit the scene back in 1991, she’s been dubbed the Queen of Hip Hop Soul. Affectionately known as MJB, she’s known for anthems and raw, thought provoking bodies of work. On this upcoming project Mary does not disappoint.
“Amazing” featuring DJ Khaled, opens with a sample from the ole’ school reggae joint “You don’t love me” by Dawn Penn. “Amazing” is a feel good party banger filled with Mary’s no non sense lyrics like “Its so hard to fake when everything I do is real.” and ” He wanna play house, I ask him, ” Where’s the fun in that?” Mary J. Blige is letting you know the good life is the goal!
“Good Morning Gorgeous” is the 2022 Self esteem mantra.. “Good Morning Gorgeous” was Co- written by Mary J Blige, HER, D- Mile, David Brown and Tiara Thompson.
