Happy Art just dropped his first self-produced EP of the year: POLO ASSASSINS. The Bronx-bred producer laced us with 12 tracks in 29 minutes (how does he do that?!). Every track is nostalgic AF featuring verses from Knowitall, Rebel Sky, JOHNNYTRA$H, Patty Honcho, and more! Shout out to C DYER on the original artwork for the cover of Polo Assassins.
It’s always a treat when this collective of MCs from all over get together. Happy Art and Knowitall host Scaring the Hoes (STH) – “the best underground Hip-Hop show” – that brings everybody together offline. I expect great things to continue this year. Matter of fact, the next EP Air BNE is on the way in February. Another joint fully produced by Happy Art and Zilly900.
When it comes to digital music distribution, it’s always a great thing to see when artists take full ownership of their music. For instance, Happy Art is selling downloads for Polo Assassins directly from his own website: mayweathertheory.com. I would rather support the artist directly without the third parties and fees.
