Robyn Rihanna Fenty – RiRi, as she is affectionately called by fans, has been officially named by Forbes a Billionaire (August 4, 2021).  Surprisingly enough, she is second to Oprah Winfrey. Her music has contributed towards her wealth and worth of 1.7 billion dollars but is not what tipped the scale.  It was her decision to launch her beauty and fashion lines.

Rihanna launched Savage X Fenty with all women in mind.  Unlike her counterpart, Victoria Secret, who focus on the slim, little booty women, with little to no curves.  RiRi wanted her line to be all inclusive, with no curve left behind.  Her line features items like sheer bodysuits, sexy bras,  sheer undies that range from thongs to cheekies and even tomboy boy shorts.  She doesn’t stop there. She also has sleep wear, robes and loungewear for all shapes and sizes.

Her line isn’t bringing sexy back but displaying that sexy doesn’t have a size, just an attitude. Curvy girls wanna be sexy too, now they have a place that affords them to do so on a budget and fits them like a second skin.

Her fearlessness, authenticity and genuine fashion sense is allowing her to bust through the ceilings.  From the boardroom to the runway she continues to show us that she is a Black Girl that rocks.  A true visionary who deems it necessary to move the bar; not set it.
