Ready to warm up your sheets and excite your ears, Tink teams up with Muni Long for the remake of Brandy and Monica’s “Boy Is Mone”. In doing so, the two collaborate on their sizzling-sampled single, “Mine” and return to revive and remind us all that R&B is alive and well! Additionally, the trendy track appears on Tink’s latest offering Pillow Talk. In fact, the 16-track album came to fans wrapped in a digital bow today, August 19th. In the age of covers and samples, for years, there have been rumors of potential remakes of Brandy and Monica’s iconic hit, “The Boy Is Mine”. Unfortunately, none have materialized, including Ariana Grande and Jessie J. However, singer-songwriter Tink has taken the cake with her Muni-assisted sample. Ahead of its release, Tink took to social media to tease that she was working on a remake of the Grammy-Award-winning smash with fellow songstress Muni Long.
She also hyped fans with footage of her in the studio with producer Hitmaka, formerly known as Yung Berg, as they worked on the reminiscent record. Get into it below:
