Izzy Hott is a very talented artist from Washington Heights, and one of the top lyricist on the rise out of NYC. His journey, like many, starts with falling in love with the culture as he cites influences such as Jay Z, 2 Pac, J Cole and more top talents. At the age of 8, he began reciting songs from his favorites, but it was the age of 12 he realized he’d rather make music than just listen to it. At 16 he put things into motion becoming a hype man for a local act. This gave him a chance to perform at clubs & events all while traveling to other areas like Connecticut, Boston, and Philly.
This would lead him to use these experiences to branch out on his own. After graduating High School, he attended Institute of Audio Research to Major in engineering. Izzy would then begin his mixtape catalog with projects “Follow Me” & “Hustler and a Gentleman” which displayed his deepest thoughts, relationships with women, to the effects of growing in poverty stricken neighborhoods.
Around 2008, Izzy was making moves with Pharaoh Music producer Rewind Da President, which led to being introduced to The Musalini who wasn’t established yet but would turn out to be a good opportunity and working friendship for izzy.
The Musalini would later establish himself as a rising talent working with acte Planet Asia, 9th Wonder and 38 Spesh. Izzy got a chance to feature on these projects as well with great verses I must say. During this grind he has put out 2 official Ep’s “Vincete” & “Memento”, both projects showing his lyricism, ability to make songs, diversity and creativity. With singles like “Fine By Me” & “The Author” Izzy Hott shows why he’s someone to look out for . Right now he’s on tour with Pharoah Music Group building the fan base and gettin them familiar
