Following the untimely death of one of Memphis’s legends, rapper Young Dolph, long-time lover and mother to their two children Mia Jaye’s “Black Men Deserve to Grow Old” campaign has attracted a fortuitous boost in business.
Mia launched her “Black Men Deserve to Grow Old” campaign back in August at the 35th birthday celebration of her brother that also lost his life due to “Interracial crime.” In one of her earlier Instagram posts, Mia mentioned that her goal for the campaign was to help her late brother’s family and two other families that have experienced loss of a husband, father, brother, or due to a violent crime.
A campaign that started out as a charity fundraiser to support the affected families became even more accurate after the death of rapper/boyfriend Young Dolph. Through the initiative, many of Mia’s supporters have come out to provide more financial assistance through their donations and purchase of the Black Men Deserve to Grow Old Youth Sweater & Hoodie. Mia Jaye started her online shop MOM-E-O to raise support for the black community through sales and fundraising.
Recently, her statement has gained her a boost in business, with so much of the Black population in America coming together in solidarity to support her.
