One of the illest and most anticipated collaborative rap projects of 2022 came into the light when rappers Jay Worthy & Larry June announced the release of their joint album.
The Bay Area is usually somewhat in the shadow of L.A, so it is hardly surprising that rappers from Oakland and San Francisco always have to work a little harder than the others. However, when two gifted rappers from these two regions come together to form a brotherhood, the result is then reflected in the quality of delivery.
Jay Worthy (L.A) & Larry June (San Francisco) have been making music together for a while now. Their joint collaborations have hit the charts and received an abundance of appreciation and recognition from Hip-Hop heads all over the globe. Just a few days ago, the duo released their “Leave It Up To Me” video – the first single released from their ‘2 P’s In a Pod‘ album. Throughout the lyrics of the song, Larry June makes it clear to their fans that; “We just getting started”, so they definitely have multiple things in the works.
The two rappers have forever shown support for each other’s work, and this collaborative effort has been surely long-awaited. The forthcoming album is expected to drop on March 25th, via GDF Records/Empire.
